  • "Either Beldorney, Bunloit, or both combined, are perfect locations for the kind of executive retreat that 21st century companies increasingly need. This especially applies to those repositioning, or considering options, in the emerging natural-capital and regenerative-agriculture economy. The Highlands Rewilding team has world class facilities and faculty - I know, I have stayed there, and done the tours."

    Paul Polman, Former CEO, Unilever

  • "I would recommend the Highlands Rewilding team and its wonderful land to any CEO wanting to take or send a team into nature, either for executive education in natural capital, or to build team spirit and create space for innovative thinking, or both."

Henrik Henriksson, CEO, H20 Green Steel

  • "Reconnecting people with living systems is essential for the health of our planet, and helps nurture well-being and spiritual growth. Highlands Rewilding is the ideal setting for intimate experiences of land and life in states of revitalization. From nature restoration to regenerative agriculture, their expert team of naturalists and scientists are fine guides for teams seeking to connect and re-energize in a landscape coming fully alive."

Joshua Kauffman, Co-founder of Ground Effect

  • "We found Highlands Rewilding's beautiful land and facilities at Bunloit the perfect place to unwind, reflect and connect with nature. Bunloit, Beldorney - and, now, Tayvallich - are great settings for family, group or executive retreats and an opportunity to focus on sustainability and other challenges together."

Tayvallich Estate

Tayvallich

At the heart of Tayvallich Estate is the picturesque hamlet of Coshandrochaid.

Coshandrochaid offers 10 comfortable bedrooms in 4 residences and is a perfect location for relaxation, tours, and seminars. It has spectacular wetlands, salt marsh, and diving nearby on the east coast of the peninsula. A wholly unspoilt west coast, looking out on the Sound of Jura and the Inner Hebrides, is a short walk away across Drimnagall. We also offer expert-led guided walks from our team around the Tayvallich Estate.

Coshandrochaid spaces

The hamlet of Coshandrochaid includes 4 properties which are available for rewilding retreats up to 10:

  • Coshandrochaid House: 4 bedrooms

  • Coshandrochaid Cottage: 3 bedrooms

  • Kate’s Cottage: 1 bedroom

  • Keeper’s Cottage: 2 bedrooms

The hamlet suits groups of 10 people best, but most of the rooms are double bedrooms so it is possible to accommodate more people if your group includes couples.

Rewilding Activities

Highlands Rewilding offers a unique frontier tour of the emerging natural-capital economy, an extremely valuable window into the next system-change in the business world.

Our three rewilding projects have the habitats, land-management, data, faculty, activities and facilities for a life-changing experience for corporate or other teams, in cohorts of up to 30 people.

The spaces are available for your own retreats plus we offer expert-led tours in our varied habitats, demonstrating how we intervene to accelerate biodiversity uplift and carbon sequestration whilst growing food, measuring and monitoring with multiple front-line techniques as we go.

Because of the stunning beauty and variety of habitats in our landscapes, the setting, comfort levels of our residences, and the expertise of scientists and rangers, these experiences are likely to be life-changing.

Available activities include scuba diving in kelp forests, wild swimming in biodiversity-rich waters, kayaking, and boat trips to the many sites of ecological interest along our 40 km of coast.

We also offer seminars, interspersed with fieldwork, from our experts and visiting researchers who will share their knowledge and experience, and led discussions, as required.
