Get Involved

How to get involved:

The best way to find out about opportunities to get involved is to sign up to our newsletter!

Connecting people with nature is a key element of what we do at Highlands Rewilding, which is why we are thrilled that so many people are interested in getting involved with us.

Highlands Rewilding is a company, not a charity. We are developing a volunteer programme on our estates with input from local partners to enable members of the community to work alongside us and enjoy all the benefits of being out in nature and the fresh air. For more desk-based work we do not currently offer unpaid internships, but are hoping to offer a number of paid summer internships from 2025 onwards. In the meantime and where feasible, we are happy to provide research topics and possibly data to people who have internships funded through their university or similar. If you’re interested in one of our estates as a possible site for your research, please get in touch at info@highlandsrewilding.co.uk

Jobs - We are building a team and a culture that recognises and values different backgrounds, mindsets, skills, and experience and we are advertising widely as a result. Our expanding team are passionate about nature, rewilding and carbon sequestration. If you are too, the best place to find out about any new positions is on our jobs page. Additionally, an important element of the Highlands Rewilding model is its strong connection to communities in the Highlands of Scotland and its aim to create local employment, so we are interested in candidates who may have those connections.

If you’re interested in science, nature, wildlife, research or the like, we hope you follow our journey and watch out for opportunities to get involved in the future. To keep up to date, please sign up to our newsletter below.
