A year of conferring and advice-seeking

During this year, we receive visits and advice from various academics, specialists, ecologists, foresters, and more, helping to inform our land management plans for Bunloit and producing two immediate management intervention priorities to kick off nature recovery:

  • Remove the conifer plantations which existed on peatland areas (forest to bog restoration)

  • Begin deer control to lessen over-browsing and over-grazing
