Volunteering at Beldorney - Bracken Bashing and Bumblebees

This month we are looking for volunteers to help with weeding and bracken bashing in the Forest of Hope and with removing invasive white butterbur rhizomes (this is very messy work, is on a slippy slope and requires a bit of clambering so only for those who are fit and steady underfoot).  For the weeding and bracken bashing days, if the conditions are right (dry and no wind), we will have the opportunity for those interested to walk the bee transects to survey for bumblebees.

For more information on our volunteer days and to join our friendly group, please get in touch with Louise.McLaren@highlandsrewilding.co.uk.
