Outdoor education classes

Highlands Rewilding’s first round of outdoor education classes begin at Glen Urquhart High School. Led by our rangers, these are ongoing and now also include a series of environment science classes, helping young people understand the environmental crisis, learn bushcraft skills, and enjoy working outdoors as part of a team. The children take part in a range of activities, from peat depth surveys, camera trapping, fungi surveys, planting of a forest garden, and building bird boxes from timber milled on the estate.
